Pancreatic cancer is considered to be one of the most serious and complicated form of cancer that is observed in case of the pancreatic cancer. Unlike other form of cancer, even if this form of cancer gets detected at early stage, still the survival rates seem to be very low. The most common signs of detection may include some minute ones such as yellow skin and eyes, abdominal pain that exudes through your back, sudden weight loss and loss of appetite, depression. These are the minute signs that may also be because of certain other reasons and hence the people may also ignore such signs. These are such symptoms till the time they get identified or the cancer gets detected, it is found that it has been spread all over the body in other regions too. However, the researchers are working with full efforts so that they could be able to find some of the means that can help in reducing the deaths that are caused due to the development of the pancreatic cancer. This is one of the most complicated form of cancer that when shows the signs and symptoms, the disease is found to have spread throughout the whole body. It is really very difficult to detect the presence or development of this cancer as the signs shown by it are always mistaken with the symptoms of other not so complicated health problems that may include irritable bowel syndrome, hepatitis or stress, etc. Some of the common signs of pancreatic cancer include pale bowel movements, dark urine, jaundice, and itching. Among these forms of signs and symptoms, it is not essential that every person will experience such symptoms to be present; the signs may be different in case of different people. One of the most common signs that help to detect the presence or development of this cancer is jaundice. The appearance of this condition identifies itself as distinct yellowing of both the skin and eyes. The presence of the increased level of bilirubin in the bloodstream causes this form of cancer. The signs of this condition appear when the tumor blocks the bile duct partially or completely causing decreased flow of essential bile. The second most common sign and symptom to detect the development of pancreatic cancer is the abdominal pain. However, this is one of the signs that are not so specific in detecting the presence of this form of cancer as it may be because of some other simple health problems. The doctors also do not consider this form of sign as specifically the sign of pancreatic cancer. The next most common symptom for the detection of the pancreatic cancer is unusual weight loss. The loss of weight is considered to be the best thing for many people who wish to be fit and healthy, but this weight loss may also be the indication of the presence of pancreatic cancer in human body. One more symptom that serves to be helpful for the detection of this form of cancer is nausea or vomiting. This is also among the non-specific signs that may be mistaken with the symptoms of other health problems. The loss of appetite is also one of the common symptoms of pancreatic cancer. The color of urine of the patient during the stage of this form of cancer is much darker and it has also been observed that the stool of these people have strong pungent odor. Apart from these, the sudden onset of diabetes can also help in identifying the presence or development of pancreatic cancer. The other minute signs for detecting pancreatic cancer may also include pain around the stomach area, sickness, back pain, low mood or depression, etc. Article Source: http://www.cancer-surgery.com/ About Author / Additional Info: I am not a cancer doctor.
