Mesothelioma is the most rare type of cancer that has got immense popularity because of its link with asbestos. This is the form of cancer that is found to occur in the mesothelium or the lining of the lung and chest cavity. However, this type of cancer is slow forming and hence it takes between 20-50 years to develop after exposure to asbestos. The next among the type of mesothelioma cancer is the pericardial one that shows signs of detection like mild to severe pain in the chest, shortness of breath, palpitations, a persistent cough, fatigue and many other specific as well as non specific ones. Based on these types of signs and symptoms of detecting the mesothelioma cancer, the people are always suggested to take care of these identification symbols and consult the doctors as immediately as possible.
