Breast cancer is also one among the most complicated forms of cancer. It is mostly found to be occurring in women and very negligible cases of men have been reported as far as this form of cancer is concerned. This proves that it mainly affects the women. It is always advised to them to report any changes, even the minute ones in the breast in order to get it detected for complete cure. There are continuous researches that are being undertaken by the scientists and experts, but still the exact cause of breast cancer has not been evolved. But there are certain things that the people are suggested not to do as it increases your chances of getting affected by this form of cancer. The risk factors are many and very few people are aware about them. Thus, the people must acquire as much information as possible about these diseases to find out what are the things that heighten the risk of the emergence and development of breast cancer within a human being. This article, however, is concerned with not only mentioning the risk factors, but also giving some suggestions to be prevented from it. The very first and one of the natural risk factors that is not in our hands to be prevented from is the gender and age. Being a female is the risk factor for getting cancer affected. It has been observed in many cases that the women detect cancer after getting a little older mostly when they advance towards 50 years of age. Thus, advancing towards an old age is also one of the factors that increase your risk of developing cancer. The second most important factor that needs to be taken into account is the genetic factors. Five to ten percent of contribution for the development of the breast cancer comes from genetic factors. As per many cases, the presence of mutated genes of BRCA1 and BRCA2 exhibit the most possible chances of being cancer affected. Along with the above mentioned risk factors, there are some more that are beyond control. Race is also among these factors as it has been seen that the white women are more affected of this form of cancer than dark skinned ones. If one has a dense breast tissue that signifies the presence of more glandular tissue than the fatty ones which also poses a great risk on women of getting cancer affected. The period of menstruation also increase the chances of cancer in women. The females who get their period started from below the age of eleven and extending up to the age of 50-55 years increases the risk of their cancer affecting chance. These are some of the factors that are beyond our control and we cannot even think of changing them apart from getting medical means. While, there are some of the risk factors that are related to the lifestyle of the people. If they want to avoid the development of cancer in them, they may try to change the factors and make the chances positive of being unaffected from it. The first among such breast cancer factor is late motherhood. The women are suggested to avoid their late motherhood conditions as it has been found that the people who avoid being pregnant at an expected age have frequent chances of getting cancer. Don't exceed the expected age of being pregnant. The women who get pregnant after the age of thirty have more and more chances of developing breast cancer. Bearing a baby at an early age lowers the number of your menstruation cycles that reduces your chances of getting this type of cancer. Last but not the least, the use of contraceptive pills is also prohibited. These are some of the factors that must be kept in mind for reducing the chances of getting cancer affected. For the factors that cannot be controlled, it is suggested to go for regular checkups to get it detected and cured as soon as possible.
