As far as Leukemia is concerned, it has been found that green tea has many benefits over its patients. In fact, the terms leukemia and green tea are complementary to each other. Based on the researches, it has been proved that green tea contributes to a great extent imparting it therapeutic value in alleviating the risk of one getting affected by this form of cancer. Leukemia is defined as the cancer of blood or bone marrow. Abnormal production of the blood cells if seen when a person suffers from leukemia. This abnormal production occurs due to the damage to the DNA of immature white blood cells. Green tea is rich in polyphenols content. These are the plant chemicals that possess great antioxidant ability. These chemicals that are present in green tea are referred as catechins. There are six kinds of catechins that can be found in the green tea. All of them exhibit distinct features with different types of benefits for varied patients who are suffering from leukemia. Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), epicatechin gallate (ECG), epigallocatechin (EGC), and epicatechin (EC) are some of them. This helps in transforming the cancer into metastasis phase and tends it to spread in other areas also. The catechins that are injected within human body through green tea help in stopping this process that pushes the leukemia cancer to its advanced stage. Green tea catechins help in the stopping of the tumor cell proliferation and promoting the cell apoptosis process. It is a normal biological human body function. There is a propagation of cancer cells that occurs due to the blockage of the apoptosis signals. EGCG is one of the catechins that help in promoting it to reduce the risk of leukemia cancer. Multivitamins are found within the green tea, in taking which will ensure the people to stay away from leukemia cancer. But one thing that you need to keep in mind is to choose the one made with natural ingredients containing nutrients working with synergy with one another. The green tea is taken in to ensure the natural means of treating leukemia cancer. The use of the natural method does not pose any threat or side effects after the treatment of the disease.
