There are several forms of cancer that are found to be occurring; one among these forms is the lymphoma cancer that affects the lymphatic system of human body. The lymphatic system is described as a network of spaces in case of small vessels and tissues that helps in the circulation of fluid referred as lymph throughout the human body. Affecting the lymphatic system include the effect of lymphoma cancer on the organs, ducts, bone marrow, spleen, tonsils and lymph nodes. This is the form of cancer that emerges in the lymph nodes that are located across the whole human body. In fact, it has also been observed that this form of cancer develop around lymph tissue that does not form distinct nodes.

One of the effects of emergence of the lymphoma cancer is that during its emergence, the cells in the lymphatic system undergo abnormal replicating. There are several facts that are associated with the understanding of lymphoma cancer. One of the most significant among them is that this form of cancer has been classified into two main categories that include Hodgkin's disease also referred as HD and the second one is the non- Hodgkin's lymphoma also termed as NHL. As far as the former kind is concerned, it has been observed that this form of cancer starts developing or originating from the lymph nodes and it is found to be occurring mainly among younger adults. While, the NHL is the form of lymphoma cancer that has the potential to spread beyond the whole lymphatic system and affect mainly the middle aged people or elder ones. In case of the Hodgkin's lymphoma cancer disease, there is the presence of Reed-Sternberg cells that are found inside the malignant lymphocytes. This point serves to be the major difference between these two forms of lymphoma cancer.

In addition to this, it may also be noted that these two major types of lymphoma cancer are also further classified into several subtypes. The results that are obtained through the diagnosis of lymphoma cancer are actually done by the biopsy of lymph nodes. It has been seen that the lymphatic system is concerned with fighting against the infections that are present inside the human body. Thus, the presence of lymphoma cancer affects not only a specific part but also the whole human body directly or indirectly. The signs and symptoms that can help in detecting the presence or development of the lymphoma cancer include night sweats, weight loss and fever, enlarged spleen and liver, and anorexia. There are still some of the facts that are unknown about this form of cancer; therefore, researches are continuously being done in order to make the people aware about the relevant facts of lymphoma cancer.

The major treatments of lymphoma cancer may include chemotherapy and radiation therapy. These therapies are mostly used because they help to combat the malignancy that is observed in case of this form of cancer. The other option for the treatment of lymphoma cancer also include the bone marrow transplant that is done when the malignancy in patients reach later stage when it becomes necessary to combat the disease. Some of the common signs of detection of lymphoma cancer include the enlargement or disfiguring of lymph nodes, painless lymph node swellings, painless swellings of lymph nodes in the neck, underarm and/or groin. Thus, it is suggested to the people that as soon as you notice any of the symptoms of lymphoma cancer detection, you must consult a physician and start your treatment at the earliest possible stage so that this step can serve to be helpful for improving your overall condition.
