There are several facts that have been established about the development of the brain tumors in the body. According to one of the facts, it has been observed that the cells in the body keep on growing and dividing themselves in order to replace the old cells with the new ones. However, when this procedure of the growth and division of the cell goes wrong and the body divides the cells even if not needed, the extra cells combine to form masses of tissues in the brain that are referred as brain tumors. There are several forms of tumors that are found to occur. The first form of the brain tumor is the benign brain tumors. This is the form of tumor that does not have cancer cells. Thus, this is the tumor that is easily removed with negligible chances to grow back. In case of this form of tumor, it has been observed that the borders and edges of are clearly visible, without invasion of the tissues by the cells that surround them. However, it has been observed that these brain tumors may press sensitive portions of the brain that can cause major health problems. The second form of brain tumor that may occur in humans is the malignant brain tumors. This is the form of tumor that contain cancer cells and hence it is more severe and most of the times these are life threatening. In this type of case, it is found that the cancer cells breaks along with the malignant tumor and spread one part of the brain to the other or even to the entire body. This spread of the cancer cells with malignant tumors to the parts of brain or the whole body is termed as metastasis. However, it has been observed that the brain tumors are identifies and signified based on their grades ranging from I to IV. In this case, the cells with high grading appear to be irregular with faster growth when compared to the cells of lower grades. The brain tumors are classified as primary as well as secondary tumors. The former ones that are the primary tumors are the ones that start within the brain tissues. While, the later that is the secondary tumors are signifies after being spread from the original part to the other parts of the body. In order to identify the emergence of brain tumors, there are some of the early symptoms that can be taken into account. The most common sign of the brain tumor is headache. The pain seems to be in its extreme state during the morning, thereby getting normal and better as the day continues. The brain tumor headaches are sometimes so painful that they can even rouse an affected person from sleep. Thus, it is always suggested that as soon as a person experiences such severe headache, he or she must necessarily consult a doctor to avoid further development of the brain tumors into cancer. The next sign to detect brain tumors may include mental or some other personality changes. In this case, the affected person may experience problems with memory, mainly short term memory, speech as well as communication or have concentration issues, etc. There are several behavioral changes and other signs and symptoms that are clearly visible in case of brain tumors, such as, complete hearing loss, decreased muscular control, lack of coordination, and double vision. The major effect of the brain tumors is the mass effect that is caused due to the increase of pressure of the tumor that ultimately swells the brain.
