Surgery has long represented the only possible treatment of cancers, and it retains a place of choice. It integrates therapeutic and technical possibilities of treatment of cancer. These days it takes just half an hour to operate a cancer patient, thanks to an innovative technique, whether a woman being operated on for breast cancer should also undergo an axillaries dissection. This great progress may save the patient an unnecessary act or returning for a second intervention. But this technique is still popular only in Europe.
