The fundamental purposes of research, especially epidemiology, is by identifying factors that promote cancer, to providing help to avoid them. The cost of cancer is very difficult for the company, any action to eliminate the causes of the occurrence of a type of cancer is a benefit, not only in lives but also in economic and social development. Making early diagnosis of cancer - is the purpose of testing - is a gain in life, because the cure rate is better when the disease is treated early in its evolution, but the treatment comes at a price a cost that is often prohibitive.
